Kit Orders for 2013 Season

Downpatrick Cricket Club's online shop is now open for the 2013 season. Prices have been slashed by 10% for all players and members.

Delivery not guaranteed before the start of the season, however be sure to place your order as soon as possible to ensure the soonest possible delivery time.

Note: When entering your delivery address, please enter all details as per normal; however be sure to select "Downpatrick" as your county; we have instructed RAM Cricket that any orders placed with this criteria are to be delivered to Northern Ireland. If you have any problems, please contact us.

Downpatrick Progress to Ulster Shield 2nd Round After Bowl-Out Win Over Burndennett

Downpatrick Cricket Club have advanced to the 2nd Round of the 2013 Ulster Shield after a 2-0 win in a bowl-out over Burndennett.

Following heavy overnight rain, Sunday's scheduled 1st Round match was called off. With cup regulations stating that there must be a result, both sides were left with no option but to have a bowl-out over the phone.

Downpatrick emerged victorious by 2-0, with Dale Mullan and Thomas Magowan striking for the Strangford Road men.

Downpatrick will now travel to Section 1 rivals Muckamore in the 2nd round.

DCC Fantasy Cricket - Week 2

Following victories for the 1st and 2nd XI this past Saturday, the DCC Fantasy Cricket League is beginning to take shape. However, with just the 3rd XI league match against Victoria III counting towards the Fantasy League this weekend, is there an opportunity for some teams to make up lost ground?

Nailbiting Win at Middle Road Gives Downpatrick Early Lead in Race to Premier League

A keenly fought contest saw Downpatrick emerge narrow 3-wicket victors over Carrickfergus at the Middle Road on Saturday afternoon. Downpatrick have now moved to the summit of the Section 1 table, with big cup games on against Railway Union and Burndennett on the horizon. Please click here for the match report.

Downpatrick II's Record Comfortable Win Over Carrick Counterparts

Downpatrick's 2nd XI have recorded an emphatic 175-run victory over Carrickfergus II at the Strangford Road. Following two consecutive victories, Gareth Rea and his side now find themselves atop of the NCU Junior League Section 2 table. Match report can be accessed via this link.

Downpatrick Cricket Club - Vegas Night

Downpatrick Cricket Club has today announced plans for it's major fundraiser for the 2013 season - Saturday 18th May will see the Cricket Club transform into a Las Vegas Casino, for one night only!

For just £30 per person, you will be treated to a fantastic 3-course meal courtesy of the Downpatrick Cricket Club Restaurant, as well as entertainment from The Diva Dolls, and you will also get an opportunity to try your hand at one of our Casino Tables. This is also a Black Tie event, so be sure to dress to impress!

The club held a similar event last summer, which was extremely popular and tickets sold out very quickly. So be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
